The best way to understand the effect of the posture of the head on your teeth is to feel it for yourself.

Tilt your head to one side. Tap your teeth together a few times and feel where your teeth touch. Now tip it to the other side and feel the difference.

Now stick your head as far forward as you can. Swallow with your tongue resting against the top of your mouth. Now pull your head back to a normal posture and do the same.

As you can feel for yourself, changes in head posture have a direct and immediate effect on how the teeth fit together and the muscular forces that act on them.
