Every molecule that your body is made up of had to first travel through your mouth. If you want your body to be healthy, it needs to be given the right building blocks, repair material and fuel.

When it comes to food, moderation, and quality rather than quantity are the biggest keys.

Some of the most important basics are...

Drink enough water. Each DAY, your body requires one liter of water for every 25kg you weigh.
Not all fat is bad. Cell walls require good fat to keep them strong. Essential fatty acids are just that,
      essential.

Salt matters. Heart disease is just one of the side effects of a diet too high in salt. For best health, learn to             read labels. Choose the products with less than 120mg sodium per 100g food.

Processed sugar is of no nutritional value. Apart from the effect empty calories have on weight control, sugar can       also play a part in allergic sensitivity.

Take the time to enjoy your food. Think quality not quantity. Its easy in a time poor society to get caught in a habit of eating 'fast', highly processed, nutient poor food.

Remember, quite literally, you are what you eat.
