Exercise is an important part of daily life.

It doesn't have to be hard, and it doesn't have to be strenuous, but in order to be healthy, it does have to happen.

Begin by incorporating exercise into your daily life. Don't park directly outside where you are going. Use stairs rather than escalators or lifts, get off the bus one stop early.

Alternate your days between a core muscle workout and a cardiovascular one. Work within the ability of your heart. A heartrate monitor is an excellent tool that allows you to stay in a target fat burning range without putting too much stress on your heart.

Keeping your exercise program within your hearts ability, helps ensure your exercise is pleasurable, and more likely to become an enjoyable habit your look forward to rather than a horrible task to be avoided at all costs.
